Schedule:

All library Administrative Office staff may be required to work evenings, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year as part of the normal work schedule.

This position is 24 hours per week, in three 8 hour shifts to be worked between the office hours of 8:30 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday . 

Job Summary:
  • Actively supports Print Shop by operating the commercial digital press, preparing documents, configuring the digital cutter, and setting up and running the automatic folder.
  • Assembles, sorts, prepares and packages print materials for distribution to branches, administrative office and external organizations.
  • Organizes and maintains large quantities of print material for easy access and distribution.
  • Receives, fills and distributes print material orders from branches in a timely manner.
  • Maintains and organizes the Distribution Room while distributing public pick-up items.
  • Provides clerical support to the department including maintaining files and project tracking database, back up for answering phones and assisting with bulk mailings.
  • Posts Library events on social media and various websites with calendars.
  • Participates in working special events as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Graduation from high school or high school equivalency preferred.
  • One year experience in an office environment.
  • Experience operating print shop equipment preferred. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull a wheeled cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Must pass post offer criminal background check.
